Becoming a Registered Nurse – Galen College of Nursing

In this video, Brandy, a Galen College of Nursing graduate, talks about her path toward becoming a nurse. Brandy’s friends helped convince Brandy that nursing was her calling, and she was able to go to nursing school at night at Galen while working during the day. The evening LPN nursing program at Galen was right for her, and she later went on to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing from Galen. A month before she graduated and became a Registered Nurse (RN), she already had a job lined up. Brandy now has a job she loves, has confidence in her abilities in nursing and has earned the confidence of her employer — her nursing career has begun.

Galen has nursing schools in Louisville, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; San Antonio, Texas; and Tampa Bay, Florida.
